Yes I know they’re brother and sister, but not by blood so it’s not entirely wrong. And even if they did grow up living together, they didn’t have a normal childhood. Dexter was always with Harry, learning the code. For all we know, dex and deb never really had a normal happy brother and sister relationship. They are two broken souls. And I think deb won’t find happiness with anyone but dexter, who is the only guy who has never let her down. And I don’t think the psychiatrist mind fucked deb, she just brought out deb’s real feelings. But because deb only saw dexter as her brother, she never thought she could be in love with him.
